Job Title: SAP ECC Functional Consultant

Duration: Long Term Contract

Location: US – Nearest Infosys Office

Role purpose: Provide cross-functional SAP expertise across the ECC platform for three production landscapes being migrated to a SAP archive model for historical reference. The consultant will support business-process understanding, source and target validation, test planning and execution, defect resolution, stakeholder coordination, and controlled handover for FI, MM, HR/HCM, Payroll, SD and Dassian-enabled processes.

Position Summary

The SAP Functional Consultant will work with business stakeholders, application SMEs, technical migration teams, database teams and testing teams to protect functional integrity across SAP ECC and legacy SAP archive environments. The role requires broad process knowledge, the ability to trace cross-module dependencies, and disciplined preparation of test evidence and reconciliation results.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Hands-on SAP functional consulting experience in SAP ECC, with depth in at least two of the listed modules and working knowledge across the remaining areas.

Experience with FI, MM, HR/HCM, Payroll and SD business processes and their integration points.

Experience executing functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, reconciliation and UAT support.

Ability to read functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, interface mappings, job schedules and defect records.

Experience working in implementation, upgrade, migration, system-copy, archive, infrastructure transformation or application-support engagements.

Strong documentation, analytical, stakeholder-management and workshop-facilitation skills.

Ability to collaborate across business, functional, technical, security and infrastructure teams in distributed delivery environments.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
