Overview:

Seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support technology initiatives focused on solution delivery, documentation, quality, and stakeholder collaboration. The role involves working with AI. Scope of Work/Job Characteristics The Enterprise Systems Administrator shall serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Department. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows: - Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft Azure resources; - Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization; - Perform Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory management activities. - Develop, deploy, and maintain processes that optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) and resources; - Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation; - Administer and....

Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of Windows server administration experience with three (3) years administering Windows 2016 and newer
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Azure and Cloud experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of AWS experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years administering Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy in environments with over 1,000 users
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Linux server management experience

Education:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of Windows server administration experience with three (3) years administering Windows 2016 and newer
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Azure and Cloud experience

Preferred (but not required):

  • managing projects with a large, distributed user base
  • developing and managing schedules for multiple projects
  • working in the MS Azure Government and AWS clouds
  • Experience with state government projects
  • managing and reporting project metrics in strict compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems
  • Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and organize and prioritize activities
