IT Analyst

Our client is seeking an IT Analyst for a contract opportunity. The role will provide hands-on IT support to end users, ensuring the effective deployment, configuration and maintenance of hardware, operating systems and productivity software across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure and support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other IT hardware
• Install, maintain and support client operating systems and productivity software
• Provide IT support to end users and assist with site-based IT systems
• Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including asset, change, incident, request, problem and project management
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests while supporting the achievement of service level agreements
• Participate in troubleshooting and the resolution of larger IT issues
• Contribute to root cause analysis and problem management activities where required
• Promote IT standards, policies and best practice to improve user satisfaction and productivity

Job Requirements:

• Experience in IT support, service desk or IT analyst environments
• Strong knowledge of hardware deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
• Understanding of client operating systems, mobile devices, printing and productivity software
• Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and service level agreements
• Ability to investigate technical issues and contribute to root cause analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with IT teams and end users
• Commitment to following information security, data protection and compliance policies
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a busy technology environment
