With a huge and growing store network and ambitious plans for what's next, we're continuing to change the game in retail.
The Role: Stockroom Assistant
This is the role that keeps Sports Direct moving. As a Stockroom Assistant, you're the engine behind every sale, making sure deliveries land cleanly, stock is exactly where it needs to be, and the shop floor never runs short. Operational excellence starts in the back of house, and that's where you'll make your mark.
What's In It For You
- Competitive hourly rate plus sales commission where applicable
- Flexible working hours to fit your lifestyle
- Monthly group rewards and recognition for the work you put in
- Uniform discount plus 20% discount across Frasers Group brands
- Discounted gym membership
- Career development, including nationally recognised qualifications and internal training programmes
- A fast-paced, supportive team environment
Your Development
From day one, you’ll receive a full in-store induction. As you progress, you’ll have access to internal development pathways, including Supervisor and Management programmes and nationally recognised qualifications all of which support your growth within Sports Direct and the wider Frasers Group.
What You'll Do
- Support the receipt, unpacking, and accurate processing of deliveries.
- Replenish the shop floor promptly and efficiently so customers find what they came for.
- Monitor stock levels and support stock counts and inventory control.
- Organise and maintain the stockroom in line with company standards.
- Store products safely, logically, and accessibly so nothing slows the team down.
- Back up store colleagues by keeping product availability tight.
- Stick to all health and safety procedures in the stockroom and back of house.
- Step onto the shop floor during peak trade when extra hands are needed.
What You'll Bring
- Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- The energy to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliability, commitment, and real pride in your work.
- A team-player mindset and solid communication skills.
- Flexibility with hours, including weekends and peak retail periods.
- Stockroom, retail, or warehouse experience is a bonus, but not essential. We'll back you to learn.
