Customer Account Representative

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a Customer Account Representative to manage relationships with public affairs and strategic communications clients. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact, coordinating day-to-day campaign execution, tracking deliverables, and ensuring high-quality client service. Working in small, hands-on teams, you'll support the development of briefs, reports, and presentations, monitor policy and media developments, and help shape high-impact advocacy campaigns at the intersection of policy, politics, and media.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned client accounts, responding promptly to inquiries and requests
• Coordinate day-to-day execution of public affairs and strategic communications campaigns
• Support development of client materials including briefs, memos, reports, and presentations
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Liaise with internal teams to align messaging, research, and media activities with client goals
• Monitor media, policy, and stakeholder developments relevant to client accounts
• Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up action items for client and internal meetings
• Maintain accurate account documentation, status reports, and performance metrics
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and expand account services
• Assist with new business proposals, research, and presentations as needed
