Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Customer Service Representative. This is a 12 Month Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is U.S(Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $17 - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members on a variety of topics.
  • Understand and service different product suites, including current offerings and those no longer sold.
  • Interpret and apply changes to products based on daily communications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of conversations to enhance member relationships.
  • Educate customers on tax implications, penalties, and benefits related to their plans.
  • Analyze customer issues to determine the best course of action, striving for first-time resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues.
  • Participate in problem-solving meetings and team huddles to integrate lean methodology into daily interactions.
  • Engage in monthly meetings with leadership to set career path strategies and expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • 1 years of experience in customer service or sales-related occupations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Nice to have: Undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications.
  • Nice to have: ChFC, CLU, or other industry designations.
  • Nice to have: Client series 6 and/or 26 licenses based on assigned product/line-of-business.
  • Knowledge of various insurance products and the sales process.
  • Strong understanding of state and local laws regarding product features.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and common office software.
  • Ability to utilize technology to enhance customer conversations
