ERP/CRM Administrator

Description
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to support and enhance enterprise platform capabilities for a growing import/export organization in Salt Lake City, Utah. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who can balance system administration, configuration, and development work while partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions. The role will focus on maintaining reliable platform performance, improving workflows, and delivering scalable enhancements across ERP and CRM environments.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize Salesforce platform to support daily operations, user adoption, and overall system reliability. Gather operational needs from business teams and convert them into clearly documented requirements and functional solutions. Configure platform features, workflows, permissions, and automation to align with organizational processes and compliance expectations. Develop and maintain client-side scripting and custom functionality to improve usability and extend system capabilities.

Manage configuration changes across environments, ensuring updates are tested, controlled, and properly documented. Partner with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, resolve system defects, and recommend process improvements. Support enhancement initiatives by evaluating current platform usage and implementing scalable administrative or development solutions. Maintain accurate system documentation, including business requirement materials, configuration records, and support procedures. Requirements
5+ years of experience administering ERP and/or CRM platforms in a business environment.

Hands-on background in Salesforce administration, configuration, and development. Strong knowledge of configuration management practices, including change control and environment coordination. Experience creating business requirement documentation and translating user needs into technical solutions. Proficiency with client-side scripting and platform customization techniques. Ability to diagnose system issues, prioritize requests, and deliver effective resolutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
