Job Description

Production Engineering Manager Fareham / Portsmouth Sites<br />£55,000 to £65,000 We are recruiting for a Production Engineering Manager to join a specialist manufacturing business producing bespoke industrial cooling and heat exchange equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to drive continuous improvement across a busy fabrication and assembly environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturability, workflow and production efficiency whilst supporting engineering, fabrication and test teams across the full production process.

The role Lead and develop the production engineering function<br />Improve shop floor workflow, routing and overall efficiency<br />Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activity<br />Work closely with design, fabrication and assembly teams to resolve production issues<br />Support new product introduction into manufacturing<br />Deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost and lead times<br />Ensure manufacturing processes comply with H&amp;S and quality standardsWhat we are looking for Engineering background within manufacturing or industrial environments is essential<br />Experience in fabricated or engineered to order products<br />Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles<br />Hands on and practical approach to problem solving<br />Experience within HVAC, refrigeration, heat exchangers or sheet metal fabrication would be advantageousPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
