AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Looking for someone provide specialized infrastructure support services to ensure stability, scalability, and security of the DHCS environment. The Contractor will provide technical leadership and expertise for three critical operational areas: server management, network operations, and cloud infrastructure (AWS). Contracted resources will provide leadership and advanced technical support for cloud architecture, automation, and migration, maintain and optimize enterprise network systems, and manage hybrid server environments. The Contractor will provide automation design, maintenance, and operations for the DHCS network, server, and AWS infrastructure. Additionally, the Contractor will provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to DHCS staff

This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. "

Five (5) years’ experience analyzing highly complex business, information, and technical problems and deriving an integrated business solution. "

Five (5) years' experience architecting and managing systems in AWS. "

Five (5) years' experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation across multiple AWS accounts or Serverless Application Model (SAM). "

Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting solutions, network, server, and AWS Cloud. 

Experience converting Microsoft Structured Query Language SQL Server Database to PostgreSQL. 

Experience with one or more of the following AWS infrastructure services: 

• Implementing AWS automation using Terraform and System Manager Automation 

• Designing and implementing public-facing and private-facing Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) 

Experience leading technical solutions, effectively training staff, and documenting designs and procedures related to technical solutions. 

Experience with implementing networking/routing in AWS, including AWS direct connect, Route 53, transit gateways, routing tables, security groups, AWS VPN tunnels, VPC peering, BGP. 

Experience with one or more of the following services: 

• Azure AD 

• Security Assertion Markup Language 

• Open Authorization 

• Single sign-on 

Experience with health care information technology systems. 

Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Palo Alto Certification (PCNSE), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification
