Job Description

IT Project Manager - Microsoft projects| Up to £55,000 + 10% Discretionary Bonus

Location: South West London / Surrey border (remote-first, in the office once a week)
Do you want to run a portfolio of projects? We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join a growing technology team and take ownership of technology implementation projects from start to finish. This is a strong next step for an IT Project Manager ready to take on greater responsibility.
What you'll be doing:
  • Running 5–10 concurrent Microsoft projects at a time, either leading them yourself or supporting them
  • Managing projects lasting from one week to several months, typically in the £10,000s, with an average of £30k–£50k
  • Keeping Microsoft projects within budget, including time-and-materials (T&M) work
  • Delivering new Microsoft system implementations and building or configuring systems (CAPEX projects)
  • Coordinating project teams of 2–6 people, including development teams and resourcing
  • Gathering requirements with a tech lead, then owning delivery through to completion
  • Tracking risks, issues, dependencies and milestones, and running projects using Agile methods
  • Keeping clients and stakeholders informed with regular updates and clear communication
  • Joining projects from contract signing, so you're involved from day one
  • Working alongside our consultancy team, which takes the lead on some engagements
What we need from you:
  • Currently running at least 5 projects concurrently ideally in the Microsoft space
  • 2+ years' experience in IT project management
  • Experience delivering Microsoft technology or systems implementation projects
  • Agile and PMP experience
  • Budget tracking experience, ideally on T&M projects
  • Confident client-facing communicator who builds trust and manages expectations
  • Organised, able to juggle several projects and deadlines at once
