About Orennia
Orennia provides an all-in-one platform for accurate data, predictive analytics and actionable insights across the energy transition. We drive faster capital allocation decisions and help our clients maximize returns across the solar, wind, storage, power, RNG, CCUS, clean fuels and hydrogen sectors. The technology that powers Orennia’s platform delivers an unparalleled experience, distilling information into actionable insights to give our clients a competitive edge.
As the world decarbonizes its energy stack, trillions in capital need to be deployed. Global investment in the energy transition must quadruple to over $5 trillion annually to stay on the 1.5°C pathway, according to the International Renewable Energy Agency. Without accurate data and predictive analytics, developers and investors will struggle to deploy capital efficiently and maximize returns. Orennia’s platform expedites the energy transition with effective and robust information for smarter capital allocation choices.
Why Join Orennia?
People are at the heart of the best technology companies. We’ve brought together some of the industry’s top experts and brightest minds in data orchestration, analytics, software development, and industry insights to uncover opportunities where others can’t. At Orennia, you’ll become part of a collaborative culture and do work that matters. We trust and support each other, ask hard questions and solve complex problems together. Guided by a spirit of inquiry, our team has a product-driven, continuous delivery mindset to drive our innovation forward.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth company at an exciting stage of its journey. As one of our first commercial hires in the region, you'll play a key role in establishing Orennia's presence across the UK power markets, building relationships with industry leaders, and helping renewable energy developers, investors, utilities, and infrastructure owners make better decisions through data and analytics.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of market experts, analysts, product leaders, and executives to shape our go-to-market strategy, influence product direction, and drive commercial growth across the region. Our mission is simple: accelerate the energy transition through better data and intelligence. Every conversation you have and every client you support contributes to the development of cleaner, more resilient energy systems around the world.
If you're entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, and excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Implement the go-to-market strategy to engage leaders across renewable energy developers, IPPs, private equity firms, banking, and clean fuels developers.
- Drive Orennia's commercial growth across the UK energy market by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across renewable energy developers, utilities, independent power producers, infrastructure funds, private equity firms, banks, and energy market participants.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and expansion.
- Develop strategic account plans and tailored engagement strategies for key prospects and customers.
- Partner with prospects to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how Orennia's analytics and market intelligence can support investment and commercial decisions.
- Represent Orennia at industry conferences, client meetings, and market events across UK
- Collaborate closely with Product, Research, Marketing, and Client Success teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Provide market feedback and client insights that help shape product development and future growth strategies.
Who You Are
- You have a proven track record of success in a quota-carrying sales role selling SaaS, analytics, market intelligence, data, or technology solutions.
- You have experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and engaging senior decision-makers.
- You are comfortable building new markets, creating opportunities from scratch, and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
- You possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage executives, investors, and technical stakeholders.
- You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding complex markets, commercial dynamics, and emerging industry trends.
- You have experience in, or a strong interest in, power markets, renewable energy, energy infrastructure, energy trading, or the broader energy transition.
- You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoy solving new challenges.
- You are highly motivated, results-oriented, and excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
