Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
Location: West Palm Beach, FL(2-3 days onsite every week)
Contract Duration: 12 months (Extendable)
Pay Range: $30-$33/HR on W2
Work Mode-Hyrbid

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist with 3–5 years of HR operations experience and demonstrated expertise across onboarding, US I-9 compliance, global mobility, HR systems, project management, and employee lifecycle processes.

In this role, the specialist will serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex HR Operations matters, with primary responsibility for US, Canada, LATAM onboarding and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of US I-9 requirements and related complexities, strong HR systems expertise, and the judgment to independently manage Tier 2 and Tier 3 cases involving sensitive employee, manager, and compliance issues.

Success in this position requires the ability to work confidently across multiple HR systems while partnering with Legal, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), external vendors, HR Business Partners, employees, managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, strengthen processes, and deliver compliance-focused initiatives with accuracy and consistency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant HR Operations experience, preferably within a global organization.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HR onboarding processes, particularly US onboarding, and demonstrated expertise in US I-9 processes, complexities, exceptions, corrections, reverification, and compliance.

  • Experience handling Tier 2/Tier 3 HR cases or equivalent complex HR operations escalations. Strong working knowledge of client HRSD.

  • Good understanding of Global Mobility processes.

  • Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, HR COEs, HR Technology, and other cross-functional teams. Experience working with external HR vendors/service providers.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics/reporting.

  • Ability to create and interpret dashboards, reports, and operational metrics.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage small-to-medium process improvement initiatives.

  • Avature ATS experience is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience supporting global HR operations, familiarity with immigration or employment eligibility workflows, experience participating in HR technology releases or user acceptance testing, and comfort translating policy or compliance requirements into practical operating procedures.

The successful candidate will be a trusted HR Operations and US Compliance subject matter expert who can independently resolve complex onboarding and I-9 issues, identify and escalate compliance risks, navigate multiple HR systems, and collaborate effectively across HR, Legal, Technology, and external partners.

They will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, taking ownership of projects, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve compliance, operational efficiency, data quality, and the overall employee experience.
