Job Description

Responsibilities :-
  • Administering the Multiple backup Management Console Server and command line exposure for IBM, EMC, Veritas and VEEAM.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments.
  • Manage backup, replication, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Troubleshoot backup failures, repository issues, proxy servers, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Configure and support Veeam Cloud Connect, SureBackup, SureReplica, Enterprise Manager, and Veeam ONE.
  • Support VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and physical server backup environments.
  • Integrate Veeam with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Perform backup health checks, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Create technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Mentor L1/L2 engineers and conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Participate in on-call support and major incident management.
  • Daily review and resolution of client and server backup issues. Capacity planning within the backup environment
  • Good documentation skill to document the day-to-day events for tracking and review, process documentation, Preparing SOP (Service Operation Procedure) documents, Creating and maintaining technical knowledge base

  • Veeam Backup & Replication (v11/v12 or later)
  • Veeam ONE
  • Enterprise Manager
  • Cloud Connect
  • SureBackup and SureReplica
Soft Skils
  • Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Good documentation skills
  • Should have a great customer handling skills
  • Able to handle unforeseen situations
  • High level of acceptance
  • Can drive HCL s value and its methodology

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
