Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backbase Developer to design, develop, and maintain digital banking applications using the Backbase platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Backbase digital banking solutions, backend services, API integration, secure application development, and modern web technologies.

The role involves customizing Backbase components, developing reusable widgets, integrating external banking systems, and implementing secure authentication and access control mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using the Backbase platform.
  • Build and maintain backend services and integrate external banking systems through APIs.
  • Configure and customize Backbase platform components to meet business requirements.
  • Develop reusable widgets, custom widgets, and widget collections.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and access control using Backbase Identity.
  • Apply secure coding practices and support compliance with applicable financial regulations.
  • Develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS.
  • Implement and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
  • Apply web application security practices involving JWT, CORS, XSS, and CSP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.

Candidate Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Backbase.
  • Strong knowledge of Backbase digital banking platforms and components.
  • Experience with Java, .NET, or React.js.
  • Hands-on expertise in API development, integration, and microservices.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end technologies, authentication, and web security.
