Are you a CNC Machinist with the ability to programme Sliding Head Lathes looking to get out of the workshop and into a more varied and exciting role as an Applications Engineer for an established, global OEM?

On offer is a great opportunity to add more variety to your working day and become a recognised technical expert in machinery applications.

This role will be split between being in the office and visiting customers to give product training and demonstrations of Sliding Head Lathes across the country. You will be giving details trails of machinery to a range of clients, along with attending trade shows and performing test cuts. Some staying away is required - usually 6-12 weeks a year.

This role would suit a CNC Machinist who can programme Sliding Head Lathes looking for an autonomous, varied role where they can demonstrate their sound knowledge of machining for a reputable, global company.

The Role:

• Split between office based travelling across the UK
• Visiting customers for demonstrations and test cuts
• Working on CNC Sliding Head Lathes
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
  
  

The Person:

• CNC Machinist, Programmer or similar
• Experience programming Sliding Head Lathes
• UK Drivers License
