The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (e.g., hostlers, cranes, top loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety.
• Maintain clear communication with yard personnel to coordinate logistics.
• Uphold safety protocols and contribute to a secure working environment.
• Drive specialized vehicles within the yard to position containers and chassis.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Open availability for scheduling.
