SAP EWM Consultant (RF & Fiori)

Work: Remote (Candidates preferred in Charlotte NC area or EST time zone). Travel to Charlotte required on need basis

Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview

An SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting warehouse management solutions using SAP EWM. The role requires strong expertise in RF (Radio Frequency) framework and SAP Fiori applications to enable efficient warehouse execution and improve user experience.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional SAP modules to deliver scalable and optimized warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Solution Design

• Lead or support end-to-end SAP EWM implementations including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable EWM solutions
• Configure warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, internal movements, and inventory management
• Design solutions leveraging RF framework and Fiori apps for warehouse execution

2. RF (Radio Frequency) & Mobility

• Configure and optimize RF screens and mobile data entry processes for warehouse operations
• Enable warehouse floor execution using RF devices for:
• Putaway
• Picking
• Repacking
• Physical inventory
• Validate RF processes with business users to ensure real-time execution efficiency
• Work with technical teams for RF enhancements and debugging

3. SAP Fiori Enablement

• Implement and support SAP Fiori apps for warehouse execution and monitoring
• Simplify user experience and improve productivity through role-based Fiori applications
• Collaborate with UX/Fiori teams for enhancements and issue resolution

4. Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Integrate SAP EWM with MM, SD, PP, QM modules and external systems
• Work on interfaces such as IDOCs, RFC, and qRFC for seamless data transfer
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end supply chain processes

5. Support & Optimization

• Provide L2/L3 production support and AMS support (SLA adherence, ticket resolution, MTTR improvement)
• Analyze warehouse operations and suggest process improvements
• Troubleshoot system issues and support enhancements

6. Testing, Documentation & Training

• Prepare and execute test cases (Unit, SIT, UAT)
• Create functional specifications and process documentation
• Conduct end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience

Functional & Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and implementation
• Expertise in:
• Inbound, outbound, and internal processes
• Warehouse structure, storage bins, HU management
• Wave management, replenishment, POSC/LOSC
• Good understanding of RF framework and warehouse mobility solutions
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for EWM execution/monitoring
• Experience in integration with S/4HANA / ECC systems

Project Experience

• Minimum 1–2 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations
• Experience in rollout, support (AMS), and enhancements

Core Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication
• Ability to work in global delivery / AMS model
• Good understanding of SLA, ticketing, and support processes

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• SAP EWM certification
• Exposure to automation, barcode, or warehouse control systems
• Basic ABAP debugging knowledge
• Experience with SAP tools like Solution Manager, SNOW
