Job Information Accounts Receivable Associate

Our client, Logistics & Supply Chain is seeking a Job Information Accounts Receivable Associate to join their team. As a Job Information Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be part of the Accounts Receivable (AR) team supporting collection operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive mindset that helps keep major accounts moving forward.

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $31.5

Shift: Nights (40 hour)

What's the Job?

• Monitor the status of collection work performed by a third-party service provider to discuss progress, issues, and problems.
• Answer inquiries from CEVA stations on collection-related matters and coordinate communication between CEVA and the third-party collections team when needed.
• Review collection status reports prepared by the third-party collections team for accuracy.
• Prepare reports for CEVA management on an as-needed basis regarding AR status of major CEVA accounts or CEVA stations.
• Review the DTT (dispute tracker tool) and ensure collection disputes are resolved efficiently, escalating unresolved disputes to resolution when required.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, plus internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience with a minimum of 3 years collection experience in a B2B environment.
• Experience reviewing AR activity such as disputes, uncollectible AR write-offs, and collection placement timing, with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
