Accounts Receivable Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a high-volume portfolio of 800+ B2B customer accounts. This is a dedicated AR role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in collections and customer account management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 800+ B2B customer accounts
• Monitor aging and prioritize collection of past-due invoices
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain consistent follow-up
• Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
• Accurately apply payments, credits, and adjustments
• Monitor customer credit limits and coordinate credit increases as needed
• Resolve unapplied payments, short payments, and account issues
• Maintain accurate AR records and account documentation

Qualifications

• Strong Accounts Receivable and B2B collections experience
• Experience independently managing a large, high-volume AR portfolio
• Distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or similar B2B experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of aging, collections, reconciliations, and credit management
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working with Microsoft-based accounting systems
