Azure APIM Integration Analyst/ Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Azure services.
• Implement and manage APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).
• Develop integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Configure APIM policies including security, rate limiting, caching, and routing.
• Manage API lifecycle activities including versioning, products, subscriptions, and developer portal publishing.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Azure AD/Entra ID, and subscription keys.
• Automate API deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot APIs using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, and security teams to define integration solutions.
• Ensure API governance, performance, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvements.
• Document API designs, integration patterns, and operational procedures.

Experience

• 5+ years of application integration and API development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Experience implementing enterprise-scale API platforms.
• Strong experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
