Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Veradigm (Allscripts), or NextGen.
  • Proficiency in healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI.
  • Experience validating structured clinical data (HL7, ADT, CCD) and troubleshooting EHR integration issues.
  • Experience with health information exchange onboarding and multi-vendor EHR interoperability projects.
  • Experience with HIPAA privacy and security requirements, SQL, and interface engines or data mapping tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead provider onboarding to a health information exchange, guiding organizations and EHR vendors through connection requirements.
  • Assess EHR capabilities, interface configurations, and data extraction workflows to identify readiness gaps.
  • Review clinical data submissions for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and conformance to interoperability standards.
  • Troubleshoot message structure, vocabulary, and transport issues, working with vendors on mapping guidance and root-cause resolution.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on integration tickets and data ingestion or transformation issues.
  • Deliver technical assistance, training, and educational materials to help providers use exchange tools and services.
