The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, or enterprise technology transformation programs. Experience within retail, grocery, convenience, food & beverage, or multi-location environments is highly preferred.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with business leaders, IT teams, system integrators, NCR/Retalix, third-party vendors, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall program governance, PMO operations, steering committee activities, executive communications, and decision management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans covering milestones, dependencies, critical paths, deliverables, resources, and key timelines.
  • Coordinate multiple business and technology workstreams, including store operations, finance, merchandising, supply chain, IT, and enterprise applications.
  • Partner closely with NCR/Retalix, system integrators, and third-party vendors to manage deliverables, commitments, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Own and maintain program-level RAID logs, including risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, actions, decisions, and escalations.
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, KPIs, status reports, milestone tracking, and overall program health assessments.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual commitments, deliverables, and project timelines remain on schedule.
  • Lead testing and deployment activities, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment readiness, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Drive business readiness and change management activities, including stakeholder communications, training coordination, process documentation, and organizational readiness.
  • Track program financials, including budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, vendor costs, and overall financial performance.
  • Lead post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify potential delivery challenges early and drive timely resolution and escalation when required.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, PMO leadership, ERP implementation, or enterprise technology transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale ERP upgrades, implementations, migrations, or transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, cross-functional teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of program governance, executive reporting, RAID management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk/issue management.
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end ERP delivery lifecycle, including testing, deployment, cutover, go-live, and post-production support/hypercare.
  • Hands-on experience overseeing SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment readiness, and go-live execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with NCR Retalix or comparable retail ERP/retail technology platforms.
  • Direct experience managing Retalix upgrades, implementations, migrations, or integrations.
  • Background in retail, grocery, convenience, food & beverage, or multi-store/multi-location environments.
  • Familiarity with POS, ERP, merchandising, inventory, supply chain, finance, and store technology systems.
  • Experience with PMO and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • PMP, PgMP, or another relevant program/project management certification is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

Experience with NCR Retalix and retail technology environments will be highly valued.
