Chief Systems Architect | Collinsville, IL, United States | Hybrid | $131,300.00 - $237,350.00 This employer is a leading technology solutions provider for the defense and intelligence sectors, renowned for its innovative approach to complex global challenges. They are seeking a Chief Systems Architect to guide a high-visibility geospatial intelligence initiative, focusing on scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise architecture. The Role • Serve as the lead technical authority for architectural design, systems integration, and enterprise strategy on a key program. • Develop and evolve architectural frameworks and system-of-systems designs aligned with long-term customer strategies. • Provide authoritative recommendations on technology integration, standards adoption, and data flow optimization. • Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions meeting performance and security requirements. • Guide technical decision-making across geographically dispersed teams to ensure consistent design patterns and practices. • Represent the program in high-level technical exchanges with customer and Intelligence Community stakeholders. What You'll Need • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a Polygraph examination. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field with 12-15 years of experience, or a Master's with 10-13 years of experience. • 10+ years of progressive experience in systems architecture, software development, or enterprise IT. • Proven experience designing and managing complex enterprise architectures within the Intelligence Community. • Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/C2S/IC GovCloud), data integration, and secure multi-domain systems. • Familiarity with GEOINT data, tools, infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST).
