website / data management specialist

Seeking a website and data management specialist to support the ongoing delivery, maintenance and improvement of a international portal.

This role combines website administration, data management, quality assurance and stakeholder coordination.

You will maintain key data files, support website updates and enhancements, liaise with external service providers, and help ensure the portal remains accurate, accessible and useful for the public, partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring strong Excel and data management skills, practical experience in CMS or website administration, and a genuine interest in data visualisation and transformation. They will be confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative through a solutions-focused approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. They will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively managing competing priorities and capable of delivering results with accuracy, sound judgement and pace.

Essential:

• Advanced Excel skills and data management skills including formulas, data integration, validation and pivot tables
• Experience managing web platforms or supporting content management systems (e.g., GovCMS, WordPress) including content publishing, maintenance and quality assurance
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and apply a solution-focused approach to problem solving, including identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, managing risk and delivering practical outcomes
• Experience or demonstrated capability in data visualisation, data analytics or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment delivering high-quality results with accuracy, attention to detail and pace
• An understanding of Agile delivery approaches and digital product or website development environments.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with issue management systems like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with XML and HTML or capacity to learn
• Understanding of international development policy, programs or the broader development cooperation sector
• Experience preparing guidance materials, user documentation or delivering internal capacity support.

Contract:

12 Months Contract with 1 x 6 month extensions

Security Required:

NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance required
