Role Title: SAP Project Manager (S/4 and Public Cloud)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 month contract, possible conversion to FTE

Preferred Location: Prefer local to Atlanta area, but open to remote on ET zone, some travel required if remote

Role Description:

We are seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation across multiple business units. This role requires a highly autonomous leader capable of establishing project governance, processes, and PMO structure in an evolving environment without an existing PMO. The successful candidate will drive cross-functional coordination while managing multiple workstreams throughout a long-term SAP rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations
• Establish and scale project governance, methodologies, and PMO processes
• Manage multiple project phases across a multi-year SAP rollout program
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business units, and systems integrators
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and executive stakeholder communication
• Coordinate weekly activities across multiple integrated systems and workstreams
• Support cutover, go-live, and transition into post-production support
• Travel to project locations as needed throughout the implementation
• Perform SAP S/4HANA systems analysis to evaluate business requirements and determine system functional specifications, configuration requirements, integration dependencies, and technical solution approaches.
• Analyze and design SAP S/4HANA solutions across integrated business processes, translating business requirements into system architecture, functional designs, data flows, and integration specifications.
• Evaluate SAP Public Cloud functionality, system configurations, extensions, and integrations to determine appropriate technical solutions and resolve complex system design issues.
• Review and validate SAP system designs, configurations, interfaces, and technical specifications to ensure solutions meet functional, architectural, and integration requirements.
• Lead analysis of complex SAP system defects and integration issues, determine root causes, and define required system configuration, interface, or solution-design changes.

Requirements:

• 7-10+ years of SAP project management experience
• Construction experience is required
• Multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Full lifecycle greenfield SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience required
• Experience leading enterprise ERP transformation programs
• Ability to build PMO frameworks and governance from the ground up
• Strong executive communication and leadership skills
