Job Description

NDT Inspector II/III | Cincinnati, OH, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Perform various NDT inspections, including Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, X-Ray, Ultrasonic, and visual inspections, as per certifications and requirements.
  • Analyze blueprints and engineering specifications to understand product details and inspection needs.
  • Inspect first run/first article parts, fabrication fit-ups, weldments, and assemblies.
  • Monitor inspection instrument calibrations and perform calibrations on NDT equipment as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality efficiency and eliminate waste.
  • Examine defective parts to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a certified NDT Technician in at least three disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a metal joining/welding facility environment.
  • Possess at least Level II or III national recognition in NDT (e.g., ASNT, AWS).
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to establish effective courses of action.
  • Must have passed specific eye examination requirements, including color vision and near acuity.
