Java IBM BPM Developer

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) platforms and workflow automation.
• Experience with J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Understanding of enterprise application design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or equivalent frameworks.
• Exposure to AI-powered developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain BPM-based workflow solutions.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Integrate BPM applications with enterprise systems and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.
• Implement best practices for software development, security, and maintainability.
• Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Evaluate and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Java application development and BPM implementations.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise applications in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have:

• Kafka-based event-driven architecture experience.
• Angular UI development experience.
• Exposure to Generative AI tools and AI-assisted software development workflows.
