Job Title: Software Developer 2
Location: Local to Austin, TX ONLY, 2 days remote with 3 days (Wed, Thurs & Fri) Onsite

Job Description:

Client requires the services of 1 Software Developer 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.


All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Client will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

Designs, codes and modifies complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.net, and Oracle Database. Performs necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, debugging detected errors, etc. Uses current software development methods/techniques and established development standards (which include programming standards, documentation standards and testing standards) to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications. Participates in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience in coding, testing, and debugging programs under development or requiring support for issue resolution, performance improvements, and enhancements.
  • 7+ years of experience processing information logically, designing programs and system logic, and preparing detailed program specifications.
  • 7+ years of experience demonstrating highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • 7+ years of experience using strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams, motivate employees, and achieve desired work outcomes.
  • 7+ years of experience with Information Technology industry trends, directions, and market developments, with the ability to relate them to organizational needs.
  • 7+ years of experience with architectural concepts, principles, and tools related to infrastructure, information, applications, and organizational structures.
  • 7+ years of experience with emerging technologies, including technologies that are new to organizational systems and the broader Information Systems industry.
  • 7+ years of experience with tools, techniques, and best practices for protecting corporate data integrity and ensuring compliance with technology practices, standards, and procedures.
  • 7+ years of experience delivering technology solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • 2+ years of preferred experience with an agency's information architecture and information management methodologies.
  • 2+ years of preferred experience with existing and planned software technologies, as well as global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
