Business Analyst - Finance Operating Model

Contract Business Analyst | Finance Operating Model | Liverpool (Hybrid) 6 month contract with chance of extension<br />Hybrid Liverpool circa 3 days per week<br />£400 per day Outside IR35 We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in a major Finance Operating Model programme.

This is a highly visible piece of work focused on understanding how the finance function operates today and helping shape a more effective future-state operating model.

You'll lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews and process reviews to map current ways of working across people, processes, governance, controls, systems, data and reporting.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll identify pain points, clarify ownership and accountabilities, support target operating model design, and help drive the transition to improved ways of working Skills &amp; Experience: **Strong Business Analysis experience within operating model design, organisational change, finance transformation or business change<br />**Expertise in current-state assessments, process mapping and ownership/RACI modelling<br />**Experience supporting target operating model and future-state design initiatives<br />**Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills<br />**Strong analytical skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex environments<br />**Good understanding of Finance processes, controls, ownership models and cross-functional dependencies.

This is a role for someone who can ask the right questions, challenge constructively, identify where accountabilities or processes are unclear, and help shape a Finance operating model that is practical, sustainable and capable of supporting their finance priorities.
