Job Description

Founded in 2008, BMG is committed to building the world’s most trusted, forward-looking music company. Following its combination with Concord in 2026, BMG brings together global scale, deep expertise, technology, and partnership to unlock new opportunities for creators while protecting and growing the long-term value and cultural impact of their work.

BMG’s repertoire includes works by iconic global artists, songwriters, composers, and playwrights, including will.i.am, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Evanescence, Kylie Minogue, Billie Holiday, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tennessee Williams, OneRepublic, Daddy Yankee, and Leonard Bernstein.

Headquartered in Nashville with 18 offices globally, BMG is privately held and part of Bertelsmann, the international media, services and education company, with a minority stake held by affiliates of Great Mountain Partners.

Sit at the intersection of music and business as our Manager, Sync Operations Catalogue Management, a role built around sharp project management, hands-on delivery oversight, and seamless operational coordination.

You'll take ownership of the full production journey: managing the briefing and delivery of production music, while championing customisations of BMG repertoire for Sync - including remixes, covers and trailerisations – from concept to completion. Every project will be clearly briefed, delivered on time, kept within budget, and licensing-ready, no exceptions.

Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external production teams, you'll be the driving force that turns business and market needs into structured, high-impact production activity. While music and creativity sit at the heart of everything you touch, this is fundamentally a project management and operations role, perfect for someone who thrives on precision, coordination, and getting things done, rather than hands-on creative production.

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of production music projects.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external production partners, overseeing onboarding, briefing, deliverables, and day-to-day project follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Sync+ team to oversee customisations of BMG repertoire for Sync, including covers, remixes, trailer-style adaptations and other tailored recordings, from initial brief through to final delivery.
  • Help coordinate writer camps for commercial sync projects and production music client briefs, ensuring clear planning, communication, and delivery across stakeholders.
  • Support third-party catalog partners with project coordination, briefing, and production oversight where needed.
  • Develop and communicate clear project briefs, delivery requirements, and quality standards to support consistent, relevant, and commercially usable output.
  • Use market insight, customer demand, and performance trends to help inform production priorities and project planning.
  • Monitor content readiness across assigned projects, including quality control, metadata completeness, and delivery standards.
  • Track project and catalog-level budgets, helping ensure production activity remains within agreed financial parameters.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues affecting delivery, rights, contracts, or operational handoff.
  • Identify and support process improvements that help streamline workflows and maintain smooth delivery from briefing through to final handoff.
  • Strong interest in music publishing, recordings, production music, and the sync market.
  • Experience managing music production, content delivery, or related operational projects.
  • Understanding of production music and custom music workflows from brief to license.
  • Strong project management and workflow coordination skills.
  • Experience working with external suppliers, producers, or content partners.
  • Familiarity with audio and data management systems.
  • Understanding of publishing and recording assets, including rights management, copyright and contracting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Confidence working both independently and collaboratively.

Benefits

  • 25 days pro-rated annual leave, plus 3 days between Christmas & New Year and an extra day for your birthday!
  • Flexible working opportunities.
  • Subsidised gym membership.
  • Private Health Insurance.
  • Competitive pension scheme.
  • All parents, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, will receive 6 months of fully paid parental leave.
  • Annual gig allowance.
  • Artist showcases.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Season Ticket Loan.
  • Workplace Nursery Scheme
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Give As You Earn Scheme.
  • A fun and sociable office environment.
