Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps / Data Platform Engineer with strong experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Docker, and deployment of Azure data platforms.

The key differentiator is real-world experience deploying and managing Azure data engineering/data platform environments, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, data pipelines, and Kafka/Event Hubs where applicable.

Required Skills

Strong Azure DevOps Hands-on Experience

• Azure DevOps / Pipelines

Experience Deploying Azure Data Platforms

Experience with:

• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory

• Data platform infrastructure and environments

Hands-on Deployment Experience

The ideal candidate must have personally performed production deployments and troubleshooting, rather than primarily managing teams or coordinating releases.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate experience with:

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Automating infrastructure deployment
• Configuring Azure resources
• Deploying Azure data-platform components
• Troubleshooting deployment and infrastructure issues
• Managing releases across multiple environments
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Bicep/ARM
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes/AKS and Docker workloads

Ideal Candidate Profile

Azure DevOps Engineer / DevOps Data Platform Engineer

A strong candidate would have experience with:

Azure + Terraform + Azure DevOps + Kubernetes + Docker + CI/CD + Databricks/ADF/Synapse/ADLS

Ideally, the candidate has deployed and supported a complete Azure data platform, not just application workloads.
