Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join an Application Services team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, self-motivated, and critical-thinking professional with strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.

The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, programmers, vendors, and end users to analyze business processes, define requirements, support application development, and ensure technology solutions align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Develop detailed business requirements, use cases, process documentation, and test scripts using industry-standard practices.
• Support process re-engineering and identify opportunities for improving business processes and application functionality.
• Collaborate with programmers and technical teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective application solutions.
• Organize and facilitate application testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, and supporting documentation.
• Provide second- and third-level support for production incidents across multiple applications.
• Coordinate troubleshooting activities with internal technical teams, business users, and external vendors.
• Track reported application issues through resolution and ensure appropriate documentation and closure.
• Support application upgrades, maintenance activities, enhancements, and internal technology initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.
• Utilize enterprise and department-specific software applications to complete assigned responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience developing use cases, process flows, and test scripts.
• Experience with business process analysis and process re-engineering.
• Experience coordinating application testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business users, developers, vendors, and other technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, assignments, and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
