We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant for patient and escort transport to join a leading university hospital renowned for its comprehensive medical care and research. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless and safe patient transitions within the hospital environment, contributing to an exceptional patient care experience.

The Role

• Support optimal patient care in collaboration with qualified nursing staff.
• Assist with basic care tasks and planned therapeutic measures under supervision.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, initiating first aid and alerting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor patients, identify their needs, and communicate observations to the care team.
• Organize and facilitate patient transport and handovers between different hospital areas.

What You'll Need

• Completion of a minimum one-year vocational training in a medical, nursing, or social care profession (e.g., Emergency Medical Technician, Nurse, Geriatric Nurse).
• Understanding and adherence to relevant laws and regulations (e.g., narcotics, data protection).
• Recognition of related professions or roles with comparable profiles.
• Possession of a valid professional license for the respective activity.
