Due to recently winning new commercial and infrastructure contracts, a respected name within the Pre-Commissioning / Water Treatment industry is recruiting for reliable Engineer to join their team. You will be conducting full flushing and bsria compliant duties, ensuring to deliver a professional and thorough service to all clients. The ideal candidate will have robust industry technical knowledge and must be able to integrate smoothly into the company. Experience / Qualifications:-Strong track record working as a Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer-Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and BSRIA guidelines-It would be advantageous to hold experience of leading on projects-Ideally will hold the tickets such as: CSCS, Confined Spaces and / or Safe Pass-Willing to travel in line with company needs-Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills-Professional manner
The Role:-Conducting BSRIA compliant pre-commissioning cleans on existing heated and chilled, fan coil, AHU, LTHW and CHW systems-Chemical dosing and chemistry testing-Black-flushing and power-flushing-Pipework and tank chlorinations-Calculating flow rates and velocities-Working from schematics-Keeping accurate records of works undertaken and producing detailed technical reports-Adhering to industry safety guidelines-Leading other engineers on projects-Providing regular updates to clients and technical advice
