STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for an Elbow Bend Trainee to join the team.  This position is responsible for the fabrication, shaping, bending, and assembly of metal products for aircraft applications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece
  • Sets up and operates benders
  • Cuts, deburrs, and sizes bent tubes to verify conformity using fixtures or mylars as needed
  • Positions, aligns, and fits parts together
  • Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications
  • Fabricates and assembles tubing metal products
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
