Agile Scrum Master - Jersey City, NJ - Contract - $78-83 Per HR

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams in a hybrid setting in the Jersey City, NJ area. This is a contract position with Mitchell Martin, requiring expertise in Agile methodologies and strong facilitation skills. The role involves coordinating Agile ceremonies and ensuring seamless project delivery using industry-standard technologies.

Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective team collaboration.
• Coach teams on Agile and Scrum best practices to enhance productivity.
• Track and report on sprint progress, capacity, and velocity.
• Remove impediments and coordinate issue resolution across teams.
• Ensure backlog quality and readiness for upcoming sprints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile methodologies to improve delivery processes.
• Monitor and report on team progress and performance metrics.
• Resolve team impediments and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and readiness of project backlogs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Agile environments.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in Agile delivery roles.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency with Agile management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
