System Engineer (Mid-Level) with Security Clearance

Systems Engineer (Mid-Level) Full-Time | On-Site | TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Required Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with at least 14 years of systems engineering experience and a technical bachelor's degree to support programs in Annapolis Junction, MD. Responsibilities * Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to develop detailed technical specifications * Lead system design and development activities to ensure alignment with mission and program requirements * Provide guidance on requirements development, alternative technical solutions, and feasibility assessments * Develop system architecture documentation, technical designs, and implementation plans * Oversee system integration and implementation planning, including systems engineering management and test planning activities * Serve as a technical point of contact to resolve issues and ensure compliance with program objectives and technical standards * Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation throughout all phases of the system lifecycle * Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including program teams, customers, and senior leadership * Support system validation, verification, and performance evaluation activities * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system deployment and sustainment Required Qualifications * Minimum of 14 years of systems engineering or related technical experience * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional experience may be substituted where applicable) * IAT Level II certification or equivalent certification meeting federal cybersecurity requirements * Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph Benefits * Retirement Planning Employer contribution of 6% of salary toward a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and no employee match required. * Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Comprehensive medical coverage with employer-paid premiums for employees and eligible dependents.
