Shipping and Logistics Coordinator

Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator.

Job Description:

Job Title: Shipping and Logistics Coordinator

Job Type: Contract                                                           

Job Location: Milpitas, CA

Work Schedule: Onsite

Pay Rate: $24, Based on experience

Description:

• Shift 1 coverage is from 6 am - 3 pm.
• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.

Must Have Skills:

• Material Handler III is a fast-paced shipping/logistics role focused primarily on data entry, inventory/shipping transactions, and cross-functional communication.
• While some physical activity is required, the majority of the role involves computer-based work. 
• Minimum 2+ years of shipping/logistics experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Comfortable with high-volume data entry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/shipping environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with inventory transactions, shipping schedules, and logistics documentation.

Work Schedule & Flexibility

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with overtime).
• Must be open to extended workdays and quarter-end workload spikes.
• Occasional weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) required based on business demand.
