The Role

• Provide mechanical engineering support across diverse platform systems, equipment, and critical marine services.
• Deliver essential engineering input to multiple projects, including complex platforms and international naval programmes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and manage platform system requirements.
• Maintain systems design integrity across varied engineering contexts and programme deployments.
• Support investigations, impact assessments, and integration analyses to inform technical decisions.
• Ensure safe and efficient implementation of design changes while maintaining configuration control.

What You'll Need

• Broad knowledge of complex platform systems across UK and international markets.
• Understanding of applicable industry standards and governance/assurance frameworks.
• Ability to quickly and confidently apply mechanical engineering knowledge to diverse projects.
• Formal mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Experience in roles related to technical assurance, material state and obsolescence management.
• Familiarity with investigation, impact assessment, and integration analysis.
