Pay Range: $50/hr - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Procurement Data Specialist II is responsible for analyzing supplier, plant, and manufacturing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and reduce procurement risks.
  • The role involves collecting and integrating data from ERP systems, SAP, Coupa, ETQ, and other sources to evaluate plant performance and total cost of ownership.
  • The specialist develops should-cost models, analyzes cost drivers, conducts technical benchmarking, and validates potential cost-reduction opportunities.
  • The position also includes developing dashboards, tracking KPIs, and preparing reports using Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint to support data-driven decision-making.
  • The candidate will support supplier quality analysis, risk mitigation, continuous improvement initiatives, and the preparation of RFAs (Requests for Approval/Authorization, depending on terminology).
  • The role requires collaboration with procurement, operations, plant teams, suppliers, and leadership to present findings and recommendations.
  • Candidates should have a bachelor s degree in engineering, operations, or supply chain, along with at least two years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, with experience in MRP systems, SAP, Coupa, Excel, and data analytics preferred.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong Excel skills, Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and integrating data from ERP/MRP systems to generate actionable insights
  • Should-Cost Modeling & Cost Optimization: Analysing supplier costs, identifying cost drivers, conducting technical benchmarking, and validating cost-reduction opportunities in manufacturing.
  • Manufacturing & Procurement Knowledge: Understanding manufacturing processes, supplier performance, total cost of ownership, procurement operations, and supplier risk mitigation.
