Job description

Wintrust Financial seeks a Relationship Banker to build and deepen consumer and small business relationships in a community-focused environment. This client-facing role combines sales, service, and operational excellence. You will open and service accounts, support lending and digital solutions, conduct financial check-ins, and proactively identify opportunities across banking, insurance, and investment offerings. Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for consumer and small business clients, delivering personalized banking solutions.
  • Open and service deposit accounts, loans, cards, and online/mobile banking while ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Conduct financial reviews to identify cross sell opportunities in lending, treasury, and wealth management.
  • Execute daily teller and platform transactions while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and deepen relationships through proactive outreach, follow up, and exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve client issues promptly, escalating complex matters and coordinating with internal partners as needed.
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools and security best practices to improve convenience and safety.
  • Meet individual and branch sales, service, and referral goals in a performance driven environment.
  • Support community and business development activities that align with Wintrust's local-market focus.
  • Maintain compliance with BSA/AML, KYC, and all bank, state, and federal regulations.
