Job Title - Technical Services Engineer (Mon-Fri, No Weekends!) Location: Rushden (No Travel) Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 + Up to 10% Bonus & Tools/Required Kit

We are looking for a Technical Services Engineer to deliver expert technical support and remote diagnostics for all Tecniplast group equipment, ensuring customers receive a professional, responsive, high-quality service experience. The role acts as a central technical resource for customers, field engineers, and internal departments. The Technical Services Engineer will provide fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, parts identification, and technical guidance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned multi-skilled Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer looking to move into a predominantly office-based position while remaining heavily involved in diagnostics, problem-solving, and technical investigations.

Technical Services Engineer - What You Will Be Doing

-Provide first and second-line technical support to customers and engineers via phone, email, video support, and remote diagnostic tools.

- Diagnose equipment faults and determine effective solutions.

- Support customers with troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and preventative measures.

- Manage technical support cases from initial enquiry through to resolution.

- Act as a technical escalation point for complex service issues.

- Provide technical mentoring and support to field-based engineers.

- Investigate recurring faults and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and service performance.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best-practice resources.

- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges.

- Occasionally attend customer sites when required to support major breakdowns, complex investigations, or training activities.

Technical Services Engineer - About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in, Field Service Engineering, Technical Support Engineering, Service Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Equipment

You'll ideally have

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Significant multi-skilled engineering experience

- Experience supporting customers in a technical environment

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- The confidence to advise both customers and engineers on complex technical issues

- The ability to manage multiple priorities and support cases effectively

- A proactive, customer-focused approach
