Location: Secaucus, NJ (100% Onsite)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations & Compliance Specialist to support HR administration, employee records management, unemployment claims, child support orders, wage garnishments, payroll tax notices, and employment verification processes. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of HR operations experience and a strong understanding of wage and payroll compliance, state agency correspondence, and multi-state employment practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
• Manage unemployment insurance (UI) claims and respond to state agency notices.
• Process and administer child support orders, wage garnishments, tax levies, and income withholding orders.
• Review and respond to payroll tax notices and withholding-related inquiries.
• Process employment verifications and respond to requests from authorized third parties.
• Maintain confidential employee information and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of HR Operations, HR Administration, or related experience.
• Experience handling unemployment claims, child support orders, wage garnishments, tax levies, payroll tax notices, and employment verifications.
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems; Dayforce experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

• Multi-state HR administration.
• State agency correspondence and compliance.
• Retail, distribution, or corporate environment.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Secaucus, NJ.
