Job Description

Technical Lead (Integrations) - South Bank, QLD

Job no: 531508
Brand: Product and Technology
Work type: Full time
Location: Queensland
Categories: Digital and Technology

We're looking for a Service Product Lead to help run and evolve our Integration & API Services capability.

You will play a key role in ensuring our integration services operate effectively day to day while helping improve the standards, practices and platforms that support integrations across FCTG's Global Business Services.

This role sits at the intersection of service operations, solution delivery and continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be the operational health of the service, working closely with our integration teams, Global Capability Centre (GCC), Service Desk and managed service partners to deliver reliable, scalable and supportable integration outcomes.

While this isn't primarily a hands on development role, we're looking for someone who remains close to the technology, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and can provide confidence and direction when it matters most.

Day in the life:

  • Supporting the operational health, reliability and supportability of our integration service
  • Working with support and delivery teams to manage incidents, requests, problem management and service improvements
  • Partnering with Solution Architects and project teams to ensure solutions align with integration best practices and are fit for production
  • Promoting integration standards, governance, reusable patterns and operational excellence
  • Providing guidance across internal teams, our GCC and managed service partners
  • Driving continuous improvement in how integration services are delivered and operated

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Minimum 5+ years' hands on experience with Integration platforms, preferably Azure Integration Services
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and ITIL framework
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
  • Deep understanding of APIs, messaging and event driven architectures
  • Experience operating and improving integration services in production environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills
  • Experience working across delivery teams, support teams and service providers
  • A passion for improving standards, reliability and capability maturity

Experience with Azure Integration Services or similar integration platforms is highly regarded, but we're most interested in people with strong enterprise integration foundations and have experience of integration as a discipline and enjoy solving real world operational and delivery challenges.

This capability continues to evolve, creating an opportunity to influence how integration services are delivered, supported and improved across a complex global organisation.

If you enjoy helping teams succeed, improving service outcomes, and shaping the future of enterprise integration, we'd love to hear from you.
