Project Manager with Workday (Lead Implementation)

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll, HCM, and Time modules.
Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
Serve as the primary coordination point between internal stakeholders and Workday Services.
Facilitate project governance, steering committee meetings, and executive status reporting.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and IT.
Drive requirements gathering, business process alignment, testing, training, change management, and go-live readiness activities.
Track implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience leading HCM, Payroll, ERP, or enterprise software implementations.
Experience managing Workday implementation or major Workday enhancement projects.
Strong understanding of HR, payroll, workforce management, and related business processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience implementing Workday HCM, Payroll, and/or Time Tracking.
Experience partnering directly with Workday Services or Workday implementation partners.
PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
Experience with change management, user adoption, and organizational readiness initiatives.
Experience working within construction, engineering, or project-based organizations is a plus.
