The Role • Oversee front office operations to ensure a welcoming experience for all guests from arrival to departure. • Lead, motivate, and develop the front desk team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. • Manage check-ins, reservations, and potential overbookings to ensure smooth guest transitions. • Monitor costs and revenue budgets for the front office department. • Uphold and ensure adherence to the company's high-quality standards and participate in quality management. • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and career progression of front office staff. What You'll Need • Relevant vocational training in hotel management or at least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, or demonstrable transferable leadership skills from another service-oriented field. • Proven experience in leading and developing teams. • Exceptional hosting skills, a passion for the hotel industry, and a strong focus on quality and guest service. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both German and English (written and spoken). • A collaborative spirit and a willingness to work across departments to achieve common goals. • A proactive and responsible approach, serving as a role model for the team.
