Application Architect - Richmond, VA | Jacksonville, FL - Contract - $70-75 per HR

This position involves working in a dynamic environment to design and implement architectural solutions that align with business objectives. Located onsite in Richmond, VA or Jacksonville, FL, this contract role requires expertise in data processing technologies and the ability to lead a team in developing a next-generation data platform.

Description

• Define architectural vision and solutions supporting strategic business outcomes.
• Design target operating environments and ensure client resiliency.
• Assist with solution design and define non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with strategic objectives.
• Evaluate the impact of strategic design decisions and contribute to architecture roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Create solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions.
• Contribute to the architecture roadmap in support of the product roadmap.
• Clarify architecture and assist with system design to support implementation.
• Facilitate solution-driven discussions and lead design of complex architectures.
• Educate team members on technology practices and best practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing distributed systems solutions.
• Expertise in performance profiling and optimization.
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
