Contract Specialst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce is looking for a Contract Specialist for a contract opportunity in Kansas City, MO. The Contract Support Specialist is responsible for supporting contract management processes and administrative responsibilities. They will manage incoming contract requests, prepare contract documents, coordinate countersignatures with leadership, and work with other teams. The Contract Support Specialist is responsible for data entry into department CRM tool and tracking spreadsheets. This role will handle requests for 1-2 areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross functional processes and reporting including Insight360 and Contract Tracker spreadsheet
• Review incoming requests, pricing models, and assess overarching contract needs
• Monitor and escalate risks and issues as appropriate
• Exceed customer expectations of professionalism
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of requests

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a business session
• General knowledge of commercial bank or business payments process (AR or AP)
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Builds rapport quickly, efficiently uses partner time, easy to understand when communicating, creates strong first impression
• Actively seeks to develop awareness of department objectives and how they relate to broader organization goals
• Actively seeks to grow & develop, holds themselves responsible for success & problems
• Uses others as a resource in gathering information, learns from previous mistakes to prevent future challenges
• Able to persuade and encourage others to work hard toward the goal at hand
• Exercises good judgment regarding when and how to escalate issues

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
