Mandatory Qualifications:

1.  Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Tester

2.  Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience in quality assurance managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization.

3.  Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience developing and executing Automated Test Scripts.

Desirable Qualifications:

1.  Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience - CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing.

2.  Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience - Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts to translate business requirements and user stories into comprehensive test cases and automated acceptance criteria.

3.  Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience - Defect Tracking: Document, track, and manage software defects using tools like Jira. Provide clear, concise steps to reproduce issues.

Travel/Part-Time/Duties/ Responsibilities:

As a Tester II, you will play a critical role in creating regression and non-functional test suites, building automation pipeline as a member of QA/DevSecOps shared services team.            

Mandatory Qualifications:

Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks (e.g., using Selenium, Katalon Studios, Playwright or Cucumber).

Performance & API Testing: Conduct API testing (using SoapUI, Hopscacth) and performance/load testing using JMeter.

•              Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#).

•              Automation Tools: 4+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.

•              API Testing: Proven experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.

•              Database Skills: Solid understanding of SQL for database verification and test data setup.

•              Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the secure SDLC.

• Other duties as assigned.

Consultants may be eligible to telecommute for more than 50% of their work hours, up to and including 100% remote work. Telecommuting arrangements require direct manager approval and are subject to change based on program needs. Consultants approved for 100% remote work must attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office and be available for major milestone meetings as needed.

How many candidates will be interviewed:

IES will interview at least the top five highest candidates. If none of the five provide best value, IES will request to interview all candidates deemed susceptible based on technical and cost evaluations.
