Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer with 6–10 years of experience in developing scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills in Java or Python, hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and expertise in API automation, SQL, CI/CD, and Agile software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and microservices applications.

·       Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage.

·       Validate application functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

·       Perform API automation using REST Assured or Postman.

·       Execute SQL queries for database validation and data verification.

·       Work closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.

·       Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and release activities.

·       Generate test execution reports, automation metrics, and quality dashboards.

·       Support CI/CD implementation and continuous testing initiatives.

·       Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

·       6+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.

·       Strong programming skills in Java or Python.

·       Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

·       Experience with REST Assured or Postman for API automation.

·       Strong SQL knowledge.

·       Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

·       Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

·       Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

·       Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

·       Kafka testing experience.

·       Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

·       Performance testing using JMeter.

·       Experience with BDD using Cucumber.

·       Experience with MongoDB or Cassandra.

·       Knowledge of cloud-native application testing.
